Primark Oxford Street met its match!

I took a trip to Primak Oxford Street. I fell in love. Then it broke me.

Where I live there is sadly no Primark and, understandably so, I get withdrawal symptoms. So when I go back up north to visit the parentals I normally get my fix.. However on a visit to London for the weekend I thought it was about time I finally met Primark Oxford Street. After a HUGE walk to get there we were met with hoards of Saturday shoppers, but I was a woman on a mission, so I and my friends split up so we could shop hard!

Half an hour later and I was in the queue for the changing rooms with a mountain of clothes. After another half hour wait it turned out we were only allowed to take in eight items at a time and if we wanted to try-on the rest of the baskets we had to re-queue! Needless to say I didn't bother re-queuing and just bought the items I had tried on, or that I guessed would fit.

So here is what I spent my hard earned cash on...

From left to right, top to bottom; Necklace £5, Top £6, Grey Jegginings £6, Patterned Skinny Jeans £12, Black Skinny Jeans £8, Peach Dress £5 (sale), Maxi Dress £12 (approx prices, I lost my receipt!)

I also bought a fabulous zebra-print hold-all with wheels on the end, which came in very handy taking this little lot home!

I've got to say after spending a total of two hours and about £50 in Primark Oxford Street I was totally broken, because once I stopped focusing on the bargainous clothes I noticed all the people crowded in and started to get a bit claustrophobic!

Have you visited Primark Oxford Street? Did you come home with lots of bargains or did it break you?

  3. I don't think I could cope in there, the one in Liverpool is bad enough. I only ever go in there when I can get there for the 1st hour of the shop being open before the crowds flood in. Can't hack it after that.
Love the choices though, some great buys

    n xx
